Staying fit during the holidays?

The holiday season is the perfect time to let go. I mean, you aren't freaking out about finals, or worried about not getting enough sleep because school's out and relatively, stress levels are on the down low. And because of this, our discipline sometimes becomes forgotten and we tend to binge on delicious shit.

am a huge hypocrite for even making this post, due to the fact that I am a massive sweet tooth, but I want to share a few tips on how to maintain your fitness during the holiday season.

  1. DRINK PLENTY OF WATER OR GREEN TEA
  2. Set a limit for what you're going to binge on ("Okay, I'm only allowing myself to eat five cookies.... Maybe one more")
  3. Get off the computer! Go for a walk or something.
  4. Don't forget your healthy foods!!
  5. Set up a daily exercise routine so you won't wallow in regret after three weeks
  6. Remember that you're doing this for YOU. If you don't want to do it, then you don't have to. :)

Recap vol. 2: finals, 1989, faith 2.0

The best part of finals week? IT'S OVER. The amount of distractions this term were almost unbearable, but I managed. As another term and another years ends, I would just like to express how truly grateful I am. I've learned and changed so much even if others can't see it. 2015 will just be another beginning and another end. A beginning of a new life and the end of old habits and such.

  • Our film got through the semi-finals! I'm so thankful that all of our hard work finally paid off!
  • Faith 2.0 is a culminating activity that's sort of like an awards show or whatever and it's happening tomorrow! It will then be revealed if our film got into the Top 6.
  • December 17- Today marks the last day of finals and I am HELLA thrilled. Today, me and my friends went to South Green and then made some music video parodies of Taylor Swift's ne album, 1989.
  • The holiday season has been so amazing so far and I can't wait for Christmas!
  • We'll be going on a family road trip on December 25-28, so I'll be taking new photos.
  • This Friday, hopefully I get to visit my friend's house and have a photoshoot by Blue Wave.
  • Speaking of photos, I'm sorry that I haven't uploaded my Singapore photo diary, but I promise that it will be up by Sunday.

Collective Haul part one

So these past two months have really drained my wallet (and my parents' whoops) but I guess it's kind of okay, since I don't go on huge splurges like these very often. So this haul will be divided into two parts because a.) I haven't uploaded some of the photos I took this morning and b.) Because I want to seem like a more active blogger than I really am. So this is a collective haul, meaning I didn't buy all of these at once because that would be hella ridiculous. Anyway, let's get started...

Polyvore Dump: Overdue Holidays

fall '14 must-haves

This fall, I was heavily inspired  by grids, plaid, and jewel tones. For this photoset, I gathered pieces that resembled a sort of school-girl-meets-sophisticated-street kind of thing. I guess it's my way of expressing a more grown-up but still on the verge of youth aesthetic.

white and gold christmas

This photoset was inspired by a more modern take on Christmas colors. Red and green? More like white and gold.

almost monochrome

For this last photoset, I incorporated my favorite trends for Winter. I focused more on monochromatic colors, but I figured that I should add in pops of color to make it a bit more festive, I suppose.
